Dragging myself home from school, I walked into my house with tearful eyes thinking my life stood unbearable. My entire family saw me enter the house without an ounce of glee, wondering what black cloud surrounded my thoughts. After years of fantasizing about the life I always desired, the breaking point came and swallowed me whole without warning. My patience began to diminish over time, consequently leading to the most important talk of my life. Walking into my room with a ball of frustration in my throat, my dad follows, like a shadow, with his concerned words. We sit down and he immediately understands my sorrow, as we spoke before about my undying impatience millions of times before. Power distance is defined as the extent to which the less powerful members of institutions and organisations within a country expect and accept that power is distributed unequally.
